Sweat Lodge Appropriation

John Mancini, raised in Catholicism, has been facilitating sweat lodge ceremonies since 2003, acquiring blessings, teachings, and training in Native American Lakota traditions also known as Teton Sioux Tribe via Alex "Thunderhawk" Richards and Peruvian Inca Shamanic traditions via Alberto Villoldo with the Four Winds Society. The sweat lodge ceremony is a universal prayer service where head sized stones are heated outside and brought into the lodge as "Grandfathers" representing our ancestors wisdom and knowledge in the spirit realm where participant's offer prayers for healing with the intention of receiving support from our ancestral spirit guides that support the growth and healing process, from the other side of the veil, here on Mother Earth. The ceremony is a gentle and kind service that supports all faiths of every kind. Mitakuye Oyasin (All My Relations)
