Jason (Ruihao) Ni
Born in 1993, Jason had twisted his foot in middle school and was sent to a western medicine doctor, who said he had to be in a cast for one month. His parents knew of a TCM practitioner and instead took him to get alternative treatment, after which he was able to walk in about 3 days, this started his interest in TCM.
In 2015 Jason graduated from Boston University, and due to his field came into contact with pharmaceutical companies in Boston and started noticing the flaws in the system built to support western medicine and pharmaceutical companies and began thinking about whether TCM can mend those flaws. At the same time, due to overwork, he became ill and after being cured by Dr. Wu, began learning Tui Na and herbal medicine from Dr. Wu.
Dr. Wu knew that Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) offered a curriculum focusing on the combinational use of both herbal and western medicine to boost the effects of both, had teachers with exceptional clinical experience, and is one of the best universities in China. And so recommended Jason apply to BUCM. After applying and getting accepted in 2017, Jason proceeded to graduate in 2022 with a bachelors degree in Herbal Medicine.
Jason seeks to utilize the thought process and wholistic view of herbal medicine in combination with technological advancements to boost the overall effectiveness of medicine and improve the medical field.
