Director of a Chinese Tumor Hospital Talking About How He Survived Cancer

77-year-old Xu Kecheng is looking good. He is the director of a tumor hospital in China.

In 2006, at the age of 66, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. Now 11 years have passed, and he is cancer free. After diagnosed with cancer, he has shared with many five important facts about cancer in interviews and on different occasions, revealing how he survived cancer for more than a decade ...

First Fact: many people have cancer because of their unhealthy diet!

As an expert in gastroenterology, Xu Kecheng understands the importance of diet with cancer incidence. Salty food can increase the chance of stomach cancer and esophageal cancer. Greasy food can make you more prone to colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, etc. Eating more low-fat, high-fiber foods can effectively prevent colon cancer.

In addition, some antioxidant foods can destroy active oxygen, prevent carcinogens from invading genes, and prevent abnormal cell proliferation. Antioxidant foods include: foods containing carotenoids (such as spinach, cauliflower, tomato, watermelon, etc.), polyphenols (such as green tea, chocolate, etc.), sulfides (cabbage, etc.), vitamins (including vitamins C, E, B1 , B2 and B12, common in vegetables, fruits, and peanuts).

Second Fact: Chemotherapy after surgery may not be suitable for everyone!

I have seen many patients with liver cancer in my hospital. Most of them relapsed after surgery. For some, tumors recurred after a year or two, and for others, they recurred within a few months. Almost all of them have received chemotherapy, and the recurring tumors are often not singular, but "cluster", and the whole liver is suddenly covered. Not only in the liver, but also in the lungs, bones, and abdominal organs and tissues.

The experience of these patients has deepened my doubt: Is chemotherapy beneficial or harmless to liver cancer patients?

To find an answer to this question, I always browse the most recent medical papers around the world every month. In the past ten years, I have checked at least 1,000 so-called SCI papers published in American and European journals.

The results were disappointing. A large meta-analysis including 57 studies involving 4756 patients with cholangiocellular liver cancer, and with patients aged 49-67 years, concluded that "postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy does not appear to be beneficial."

Therefore, I refused chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can cause cancer cell genes to mutate again, becoming "outliers". These outliers are resistant to chemotherapy drugs, and worse, are more "malignant."

When deciding whether to give patients chemotherapy, clinicians should question more, not just focus on "cancer", but also focus on "the stability of the entire system". Consider this: can chemotherapy extend the life of the patient, not a few days or months, but a few years or more, or is it counterproductive?

Third Fact: surgery is not a solution for all patients

Only 20% of cancer patients can undergo surgery because of the following three reasons:

01. Cancer is asymptomatic in the early stages. When it is discovered, either because the cancer is too large, or because of its location, or because metastasis has occurred, it cannot be removed;

02. The patient is old or has other diseases, which make them unsuitable for surgical treatment;

03. The patient or family members refuse surgery.

It is almost impossible to kill all cancer cells. We need new strategies to fight cancer.

Director Xu Kecheng said that cancer is a systemic disease that involves the whole body. Although surgical resection is the most important way to get rid of cancer, "getting ride of" is not the same as "curing."

Studies have shown that 70% of breast cancer patients, even in the "early stage", may have cancer cells in the peripheral blood and bone marrow. These cancer cells often exist in the form of "cancer stem cells" and are in a "dormant" state. When mature, they "wake up" and grow rapidly to form new tumors.

Therefore, even though breast cancer can be "cut away" and lung cancer can be "removed" through surgery, systemic cancer cells cannot be "removed."

How can cancer be treated without surgery?

Actually, you can work on your emotions!

Almost all physical conditions are affected by emotions. The immune system regulates through emotions. When a person is in a good mood, the function of the immune system will be enhanced.

But when you are stressed, very depressed, and have bad emotions, these emotions will produce toxins in the blood, and these toxins will damage physical and mental health.

Speaking of which, have you found that the characteristics of cancer cells are similar to those of people?

They do not need to receive the signal of the group, they leave their original position, regardless of the whole, and like an individual with strong personality.

They are hateful, and take the nutrients of the surrounding cells. They are greedy and need a lot of energy. They are selfish and have low energy utilization rate.

When our mind is sick, our body is susceptible to illness. When our mood is transformed, cancer can be cured without medicine!

Fourth Fact: Don’t believe in advertisement

Many people end up losing both health and money!

Many clinicians have such diagnosis and treatment experience: some patients with hepatitis gradually change from chronic hepatitis to cirrhosis, and then cirrhosis becomes cancerous, forming a "hepatitis-cirrhosis-liver cancer" trilogy.

The hepatitis here refers to hepatitis B or C. If a patient is tested positive for the hepatitis panel of blood tests, but his transaminase is not elevated, and there is no damage to liver function, then he is called hepatitis B virus carriers. The risk of liver cancer in hepatitis B virus carriers is indeed much greater, but at present in more than 95% of the cases, there is no cure. The only way is to review it regularly. Once liver cancer is diagnosed, treat it as soon as possible. The cure rate of early liver cancer can reach 90%.

Hepatitis B virus is uncontrollable, and it does not make sense to treat a carrier. In order to prevent liver cancer, many carriers have tried their best to turn their test results negative, and many businesses have advertised drugs to achieve that goal. Director Xu said earnestly: "I have been studying liver disease for 40 years. So far, no medicine can do that. I advise you not to be deceived. Many people believing in these advertisement ended up losing both their health and money!

Fifth Fact: To cure cancer, first is to cure your mind!

Many people are not died of cancer, but fear! I was scared for a while when I learned that I had cancer.

"Everyone dies eventually. I face this matter calmly. After I was diagnosed, I quickly accepted the fact. My cancer is a very malignant type, with a five-year survival rate of only a few percent. In this case, It's a challenge for me. "

Xu Kecheng said, "I must survive, because there are still many things to be done. For example, cancer is a chronic disease. To help patients live with cancer, we need humane treatment. Don't let the patient suffer twice. To have a happy life is to live in the moment.

I have to systematize these ideas, and I must form it into a concept and a model, so that it can be promoted. "

11 years later, his cancer has not recurred. He still leads his team to continue to find cures for the incurable diseases. "Be happy, eat a balanced diet, exercise properly, and keep working." That's his secret.
