Announcing Our New Consultant - National Master of TCM Prof. Li Diangui

Wu Healing Center is honored to have Prof. Li Diangui, a master of traditional Chinese medicine, joining our team as a consultant.

Prof. Li Diangui will collaborate with Dr. Ming Wu to establish a traditional Chinese medicine master inheritance studio in CT. He plans to accept students as his apprentices to learn TCM and pass down his knowledge and experiences to the next generation of TCM practitioners.

 

About Prof. Li Diangui

Li Diangui, (1950-) is a professor, chief physician, and doctoral mentor. He has won many honorary titles, such as National Master of TCM, a national level award winning TCM teacher, and the first twelve famous Chinese medicine practitioners in Hebei Province, top 10 famous people in Hebei in 2017, etc.

He has been engaged in the clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine for more than 50 years, and is an expert at the treatment of spleen and stomach problems. He instructed and published more than 400 scientific research papers, edited more than 10 textbooks for various colleges and universities, more than 40 academic monographs, obtained a number of patents, and won more than 30 scientific and technological progress awards.

 

Areas of expertise and research direction 

1. Expert at treating a variety of difficult and miscellaneous diseases, among which he has deep attainments in the treatment of chronic gastritis, precancerous lesions of gastric cancer, and ulcerative colitis.

2. Completed a number of research projects such as "Pharmacological Experiment Research on Weitongning Capsules", and won the Science and Technology Progress Award.

 

Representative works

His representative works include "Treatise on Turbidity and Toxin " and "Research and Application of Gynostemma pentaphyllum", and he has published more than 100 academic papers.

"Master of Chinese Medicine" is the highest honor in the field of Chinese medicine in China. Due to the pioneering of the theory of turbid poison in the traditional Chinese medicine field, and successfully reversing chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia, atypical hyperplasia and other precancerous lesions of gastric cancer. Prof. Li Diangui became the only one selected in his province in the selection of the third "Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine". He is the second Chinese medicine practitioner in his province to receive this honor, and the youngest master of Chinese medicine in the country.

Professor Li Diangui pays equal attention to medical ethics and medical skills in terms of teaching and educating people, and has trained many students. For more than 50 years of clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine, he has kept in mind the ancient adage that "medicine is benevolent", so that patients can spend less money to cure diseases. He has treated hundreds of thousands of patients, allowing patients to feel the benefits of traditional Chinese medicine while gaining health.

 Over the years, Professor Li Diangui has made positive contributions to the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine. Most of the students he trained have become core contributors in traditional Chinese medicine field.
