Cynthia's Testimonials
I consider Dr. Ming Wu to be an exceptional healer and doctor of herbal medicine. I first met Ming over 12 years ago when a neighbor told me that her friend had been paralyzed from a stroke and was being healed by a young Chinese doctor. She said that this doctor, Ming Wu, was healing her friend by moving energy through her paralyzed limbs. I arranged to meet Ming and witnessed the healing of this woman who went from paralysis to walking within a matter of months. This was after her American doctor had told her she would never again feel sensation in her feet or legs.
As the years have passed, I have witnessed many healings performed by Ming Wu. As my awareness to traditional Chinese medicine has deepened through Ming’s guidance and healing, I am approaching not only a healthier life but a new way of living.
The best way to illuminate Ming’s exceptional work and healing expertise is through my own concrete examples. One day in particular, my head had been throbbing to an explosive state. My own doctor handed me a pharmaceutical decongestant sample saying “take theseâ€. Since I had never had a sinus infection in my entire life and had no cold symptoms, I sensed something else was happening and thought I must find Ming Wu. I drove to his office, and after feeling my pulse, Ming told me my liver was blocked and prescribed some herbs which totally cured the problem. Later, I learned that my doctor had noted some enzymatic disruption of the liver and that I had been exposed to chemicals in my place of work. Ming’s diagnosis was not only correct, but his treatment was immediate and the results effective.
After this incident which was in 1990, I had seen Ming a few times, but was in relatively good health. But, 2½ years ago, I began to experience periodic “viral infectionsâ€, low energy, and an overall feeling of ill health. I was constantly rebutted by the western medical system; my doctor would dismiss any concern as viral, non-conclusive, menopausal or aging. Eventually, with changes in doctor and much pushing on my past, I was diagnosed with stage 3 carcinoma. I had at the same time begun treatment with Ming Wu. Ming suggested a combined approach of acupuncture, some herbs, Tui Na massage, and Qi Gong healing. Because my interaction with the oncologist left me totally upset and depleted, I decided to do some research and to follow the program of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through Ming Wu’s healing, I have regained my health and vigor. Thanks to Ming’s guidance and teaching. I am practicing Qi Gong regularly and am experiencing the power of Qi to heal the body. These is much to learn in this healing journey, and Ming Wu has been my primary doctor, healer, friend and esteemed master. I thank the universe for his presence in the United States and for his willingness to share, teach and guide others to a more balanced and healthy life. My heart is filled with happiness and gratitude towards Ming Wu for the health he has given me.

Exactly what caused the weight loss is uncertain. Loss of appetite is common at higher altitudes, and indeed the men ate significantly less than usual--about 700 calories fewer per day, or a bit over 2000 calories total. Lippl also notes that because their consumption was being monitored, they may have been more self-conscious about what they ate. Regardless, eating less accounts for just 1 kg of the 1.5 kg lost, says Lippl. Lippl thinks the increased metabolic rate, which was measured, also contributed to weight loss but exam 70-640 cannot separate the different effects with the given dataThe work is preliminary but intriguing, says Richard Bergman, a physiologist at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and editor of Obesity. He notes that Colorado, with many residents living at high altitudes, is the least obese state in the United States, and this paper "might give us insight as to why.Appetite loss at high altitudes could certainly be key, notes Damian Bailey, a physiologist at the University of Glamorgan, Pontypridd, in the United Kingdom who himself recently lost 11 kg during a 3-month expedition to the Andes in Chile. Bailey agrees Lippl's findings are interesting but laments the study's lack of a control group staying at low altitudes.
